# How to delete pages from a PDF

Open the free Delete PDF pages tool, drop the file, select the pages to remove on the previews, then download the cleaned PDF. The remaining pages keep their quality.

## With the free Nimbo web tool (any device)

1. Open Delete PDF pages and drop your PDF.
2. Select the pages to remove, or type them (for example 2, 7-9).
3. Check the previews: crossed-out pages will be removed.
4. Download the new PDF.

## With Preview on a Mac

1. Open the PDF in Preview and choose View > Thumbnails.
2. Select the page thumbnails to remove.
3. Press Delete, then File > Save (or Export to keep the original).

## Tips

- You cannot delete every page: at least one must remain.
- Removing pages does not always shrink the file a lot if the deleted pages were plain text; use [Compress PDF](https://nimbopdf.com/compress-pdf/) for that.
