Pages are drawn as you scroll, so even long documents open quickly. The built-in search finds every match in the document, counts them and highlights each one on its page; the text can also be selected and copied.

## How it works

1. Drop the PDF or choose it.
2. Scroll, zoom, or type a page number to jump to it.
3. Search with the search box (⌘F / Ctrl+F): Enter and Shift+Enter go through the matches.

## Common issues

- **Search doesn't find a word I can see.** That page is probably scanned (a picture): it has no text to search. It needs text recognition (OCR) first, for example in Nimbo for iPhone.
- **The text looks pixelated when zoomed.** Pages are redrawn sharply at each zoom level after a moment.

## Private by design

This tool runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Your file is read and processed on your device and is never uploaded to a server. Closing the tab discards everything.
