Updated

Your original stays untouched: the selected pages are copied, in their order, into a new document. Click a page to select it, Shift-click to select a run of pages, or type ranges like 2-5, 9.

How it works

  1. Drop the PDF.
  2. Select the pages: click thumbnails, Shift-click for a range, or type 1-3, 7.
  3. Select Extract and download the new PDF (or a ZIP with one PDF per page).

Supported files

Input: one PDF. Output: one PDF, or one PDF per page in a ZIP.

Up to 400 MB per PDF on a computer, 150 MB on iPhone and iPad. Larger files depend on your device's memory.

When to use it

  • Send only the signed page of a contract.
  • Keep the pages of a bank statement you need for a form.
  • Pull one chapter out of a textbook PDF to read on your phone.

Quality and limitations

  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
  • Links that pointed to pages you did not extract stop working in the new file.

Common issues

How do I select many pages quickly?
Click the first page, then Shift-click the last one. Or type a range such as 10-25 in the Pages field.
I want each page as its own file.
Tick One PDF per page: you will get a ZIP with a PDF for every selected page.
