Create your signature with a mouse, a finger or a pen, type it in a handwriting style, or upload a photo of it (the white background can be removed). Place it on any page, move it, resize it from its corner and add the date. Your signature exists only in this tab: it is not uploaded or saved.
How it works
- Drop the PDF.
- Select Add signature and draw, type or upload it; place it, move and resize it. Add the date if needed.
- Select Save signed PDF and download it.
Supported files
Input: one PDF. Output: one PDF.
Up to 400 MB per PDF on a computer, 150 MB on iPhone and iPad. Larger files depend on your device's memory.
When to use it
- Sign a lease, a quote or a school form without printing.
- Approve an invoice or a delivery note.
- Initial several pages of a contract.
Quality and limitations
- This is a simple electronic signature (an image), not a certificate-based digital signature; some contracts require a qualified e-signature service.
- To fill text fields, use Fill PDF form first.
Common issues
- My drawn signature looks shaky.
- Draw bigger and slower; on a phone, turn it sideways for more room. Or type your name in a handwriting style.
- The signature is too big.
- Drag its bottom-right corner, or focus it and press −.
Private by design
This tool runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Your file is read and processed on your device and is never uploaded to a server. Closing the tab discards everything.
Frequently asked questions
Is an electronic signature valid?
A simple electronic signature may be enough for many everyday documents, but legal requirements vary by country and document type. Some documents require a specific or qualified signature: check with the other party if you're unsure.
Is my signature stored?
No. It stays in this browser tab and disappears when you close it.
Can I sign several pages?
Yes. Go to another page and add the signature again.
