Rotating in a viewer only changes how you see the page. This tool writes the rotation into the PDF, so the pages open the right way everywhere. Rotation is lossless: nothing is redrawn.
How it works
- Drop the PDF.
- Rotate pages with their own buttons, or select several and rotate them together.
- Select Save rotated PDF and download it.
Supported files
Input: one PDF. Output: one PDF.
Up to 400 MB per PDF on a computer, 150 MB on iPhone and iPad. Larger files depend on your device's memory.
When to use it
- Fix scanned pages that came out sideways.
- Turn landscape tables upright for printing.
- Correct a document photographed upside down.
Quality and limitations
- Rotation is in steps of 90°. To straighten a slightly tilted scan, scan it again.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
Common issues
- Pages still look sideways in my viewer.
- Make sure you opened the new file (its name ends with -rotated). Some viewers keep their own view rotation; reset it.
- I want to rotate all pages at once.
- Select all pages, then use Rotate left or Rotate right in the toolbar.
Private by design
This tool runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Your file is read and processed on your device and is never uploaded to a server. Closing the tab discards everything.
