Updated

iPhones save photos as HEIC to save space. Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac can read HEIC, so the conversion happens directly in your browser. When you pick photos from the iPhone photo library, iOS usually hands them over as JPG anyway, which every browser accepts.

How it works

  1. On iPhone, tap Choose files or Take photo and pick your photos.
  2. Reorder them and choose page size and margins.
  3. Select Create PDF, then Download or Share.

Supported files

Input: HEIC/HEIF (Safari), JPG, PNG, WEBP. Output: one PDF.

Up to 60 MB per image and 200 images at a time.

When to use it

  • Send photos of documents to an office that only accepts PDF.
  • Turn a series of whiteboard photos into one file.
  • Create a printable PDF from holiday photos.

Quality and limitations

  • Chrome, Edge and Firefox can't decode HEIC files copied from a computer; use Safari, or convert to JPG first.
  • Up to 200 photos and 60 MB per photo.

Common issues

“Your browser can't open HEIC photos.”
Open this page in Safari on iPhone, iPad or Mac. On Windows, export the photos as JPG first (the Photos app can do it).
Photos are very large in the PDF.
Choose A4 or Letter, then run Compress PDF on the result.

Private by design

This tool runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Your file is read and processed on your device and is never uploaded to a server. Closing the tab discards everything.

HEIC keeps the same quality as JPG in about half the space. You can change it in Settings → Camera → Formats.

Does it work offline?

Once the page is loaded, the conversion itself needs no connection.

Are my photos uploaded?
